Our Story
Inter Roath FC was founded in November 2023 with just eight Under-7 players and one Under-8. From day one, younger players stepped up to support teams each week, setting the tone for the inclusive, team-first spirit that defines our club.
As we’ve grown, we’ve introduced summer training sessions to help fundraise, with every penny reinvested back into the club. Today, Inter Roath FC proudly fields teams in the Cardiff and District League.
Created by parents for local children, the club was formed to give more young players the chance to play, especially those facing long waiting lists elsewhere. Our aim is simple: to give every child a place to play, feel included, and belong.
We welcome players from all backgrounds and are committed to creating a positive, supportive environment where children can grow through football.

Training takes place at Cardiff High on an excellent 3G pitch tested to FIFA standards, giving our players a high-quality environment to learn and play. .
Our club Community
We are a close-knit, family club where players, parents, and coaches are united by a shared passion for the game. From weekend matches to social events, we bring families together while developing young footballers on and off the pitch.
